Based at Johannesburg International Airport, South Africa, Safair has additional base stations at Entebbe, Uganda; Bamako, Mali; Juba, South Sudan and Mogadishu, Somalia.
Safair Operations is currently one of the leading commercial operators of the Lockheed Hercules Aircraft, with a fleet of 6 x L100-30 Hercules. Current operations with this type are on a worldwide basis.
Other aircraft in our fleet consists of 1 x 737-400 Combi aircraft, 1 x B737-400 Freighter Aircraft and 1 x 737-400 passenger aircraft. Safair specializes in leasing and chartering of passenger and cargo aircraft to domestic and
international operators including South African Airways, Mango Airline, PAE, The ICRC, The WFP as well as the UN to name but a few.
